Park puts a stop to private lessons
The Pekin Park District Board voted recently to stop private citizens from earning money to provide golf lessons on park district property. The park district hired a golf professional, Jason Kemp, in 2011 and all private lessons on park property will from now on be given by him as part of his compensation package.
